Description
Rudrabhishekam To worship Lord Shiva in his Rudra avatar, pooja is performed. Lord Shiva is also known as Bholenath because the prayers of his followers make him exceedingly happy. When offering the Shiva lingam an abhishekam, Rudra Suktham is recited.
The abhisekam for Shiva lingam utilising the Panchamirtham and Water is a part of this pooja’s ritual. To all eleven manifestations of the Rudra, 11 different types of Abhishekam and Rudra Vilva Archana are performed. The abhishekam will be performed for both the Swamy and the devotee using the kalasha water that has been maintained for the duration of the pooja.
